Who I am and what this document covers
The website gogodigital.co.il belongs to Gogo Digital, my business (Shachar Margalit, licensed sole proprietor). I run lead-generation campaigns, and I use this site to show my work and receive inquiries.
Here I explain what information the site collects, what I do with it, who it’s shared with, and what you can ask me to do about it. I’m responsible for this data.

What information is collected
Information you give me yourself:
- In the site forms (home page, contact page, and the “Want to set up a meeting?” pop-up): name, phone, and email, plus your confirmation that you’ve read this policy.
- When you contact me directly by phone or email: whatever you choose to tell me.
Information collected automatically while you browse:
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, approximate location at the city or country level.
- Visit data: where you came from (for example, a Google or Facebook ad), which pages you viewed, for how long, and whether you submitted a form.
- Cookies and measurement tools, detailed below.
I don’t ask for sensitive information, such as medical data, payment details, or ID numbers. The site has no sign-up, user accounts, or purchases.
Why I use the information
| What’s collected | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name, phone, and email from the form | To respond to your inquiry, schedule an intro meeting, and, if we work together, manage the business relationship | Your consent when you submit the form |
| Technical and visit data | To run and protect the site, and to understand which pages work | Proper operation of the site |
| Measurement and advertising data | To measure which ads bring inquiries, and to show my ads to people who have already visited the site | Running and marketing my business, with notice in the cookie banner |
You’re not legally required to give me your details. It’s entirely up to you. Without a name and phone number, I just won’t be able to get back to you.
I don’t sell personal information, and I don’t use it for purposes not listed here.
Who the information is shared with
I work alone, and the information comes to me. To keep the site running, some of it passes through vendor services:
| Vendor | What it does | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Upress | Hosts the site and the inquiries stored on it | Everything stored on the site |
| Google (Gmail) | Sends the inquiry to my email | Name, phone, email |
| Make | Passes the inquiry to an internal tracking sheet | Name, phone, email, which form it came from |
| Google (Sheets) | My spreadsheet for tracking inquiries | Name, phone, email |
| Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager) | Measures visits and ads | Technical and visit data |
| Meta (Facebook and Instagram) | Measures ads | Technical and visit data |
Some of these vendors store data on servers outside Israel, mainly in the United States and Europe.
Beyond that, I only disclose information when the law requires it, for example under a court order.
Cookies and measurement tools
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. The site uses three types:
| Type | Why | Tool |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | So the site works and remembers your cookie choice | WordPress, Elementor |
| Measurement | To understand how the site is used and where visitors come from | Google Analytics |
| Advertising | To measure which ads bring inquiries, and to show ads to people who have already visited | Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager |
The banner that appears when you enter the site is for information only. The measurement and advertising tools run from the moment you arrive, whether or not you click the banner.
If you’d rather not be measured, you can:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will keep working, just without the measurement.
- Manage the ads you see in Google’s ad settings and Meta’s ad settings.
How long the information is kept, and how it’s secured
- An inquiry that didn’t lead to working together is deleted after 24 months.
- Client details are kept for the whole period we work together, and afterward for as long as tax law requires: 7 years for accounting documents.
- Measurement data is kept in the tools themselves, according to their settings. In Google Analytics it’s set to 14 months.
The site runs on an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to inquiries is limited to me, with passwords. No security online is perfect, but I do what’s reasonable to keep your information from leaking.
What you can ask me to do
- Review the information I have about you.
- Correct information that’s wrong or out of date.
- Delete your information, when there’s no legal reason to keep it.
- Stop receiving messages from me, at any time.
Just send an email to gogo@gogodigital.co.il. To make sure the information goes to the right person, I may ask for a simple identifier, like the phone number you contacted me from. I reply within 30 days, and usually faster.
If you’re not satisfied with my answer, you can contact the Privacy Protection Authority at Israel’s Ministry of Justice.
A few more things
The site is meant for business owners, not for anyone under 18. If someone younger has left their details, write to me and I’ll delete them.
The site links to my clients’ websites and to sources of information. Once you go to those, their privacy policies apply, not this one.
When something changes in how the site collects or uses information, I’ll update it here and change the update date at the top of the page.
